Sequoian Satori
Sequoian Satori began as a search for meaning and became a quest down Highway 1 to understand the mysteries of life. Poetry made my imagination translatable – a way to integrate the moments that I’d only felt and sensed. What was often whimsical and absurd musings, arrived as pure joy like a sunrise in the Redwoods. When I write, I often feel a sudden jolt of insight or Satori and this is something I wish for everyone to experience.

About Devin Masterson
Devin is a writer, poet, and entrepreneur based in Santa Cruz, California. You can find him working in the wild at local coffee shops and wherever inspiration strikes. Devin was raised in Petaluma, CA in a petting zoo of sorts. His mother is a dog show famous golden retriever gal and his pops a liberal justice keeper. Devin and his younger brother were both accomplished gymnasts and later became Eagle Scouts. He was blessed with an environmentally and socially conscious education from a young age by working in a native plant nursery, restoring habitats, and launching cycling teams. As a young adult, Devin overcame a psycho-spirtual crisis that humbled him enough to learn what it means to be a man of integrity and compassion. Dev is belovedly known for his rejuvenating poetry that mystically captures his adventures through California's iconic landscapes.

Heck, being a writer on a mission to reinvigorate the imaginations of sleepy Earthlings costs time AND money! While we live in an age of imprudent temporal abundance, I’ve managed to stay cool in my 2006 Honda Accord and live well with less.
