A book about the everyday miracle of simply walking by our own accord on Planet Earth. For those who can no longer walk, cannot walk, or are aspiring striders, we have the other everyday miracle of simply ‘being on Earth’. The word walk is also a metaphor for life, so there’s some memoir mixed into the piscean caviar with myth, magic, poetry, transformational humor, and a little shoehorn wisdom. Yes, you are reading a tantalizing advertisement for a book about miraculous, wayfinding wealth that has been passed down for generations and kept a closely guarded secret until now. You are RICH, FINALLY! As the self-appointed wordsmith speaking on behalf of this here celestial body, I am pleased to announce that YOU are one of the righteous owners, occupants, inhabitants, inheritors, stewards, and guardians of this tiny blue dot in the cosmos, Planet Earth. Yes, you, and our fellow Earthlings have inherited the Earth and may experience it however you wish. BUT, there’s more! This next gift is brought to you by your ancestors and the great mystery…
It's your very own soul! You and your sweet soul get to explore all of this Earth’s flora and fauna, sounds, sights, tastes, touches, and scents if you are brave.
Now, what about the poetic magic of a sunset saunter or the mystique of a prowl under a full moon? You’ll have to try it yourself or read about in A Walk On Earth.

If God has been good enough to give you a poet
Then listen to him. But for God's sake let him alone until he is dead;
no prizes, no ceremony,
They kill the man. A poet is one who listens
To nature and his own heart; and if the noise of the world grows up
around him, and if he is tough enough,
He can shake off his enemies, but not his friends.
That is what withered Wordsworth and muffled Tennyson, and would have
killed Keats; that is what makes
Hemingway play the fool and Faulkner forget his art.

Heck, being a writer on a mission to reinvigorate the imaginations of sleepy Earthlings costs time AND money! While we live in an age of imprudent temporal abundance, I’ve managed to stay cool in my 2006 Honda Accord and live well with less. My modest means are bootstrapping a mission to revive our lost love of literature, poetry, and the spoken story. I think it's kind of important. If you agree and want to see the next generation excited to read words on real paper about the magic of life on Earth, then let's talk about becoming my patron saint.
